The Founder and CEO of New Paradigm Solution, Charlotte Ikome Mojoko, was born in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. Charlotte was raised in a middle-class family with many siblings and cousins. She started her journey abroad in 1996 as a student in Europe, precisely Germany and the Netherlands. Fortunately, her education in Germany was tuition-free. However, she needed to work hard to pay for her living expenses because her parents could not afford the cost. Studies in Netherland were not tuition-free, and she did not know how scholarships worked as nobody within her circle knew. Charlotte knew that scholarships and study loans were only reserved for the elites and citizens of that country. In 2006, Charlotte immigrated to Canada under the Canadian Federal skilled Worker Program.
Charlotte’s early life in Canada was not a platter of Gold because she struggled with fitting into a new culture and understanding the new system. She decided to go back to school to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to embark on her career goal. Charlotte holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and Business Administration and has more than a decade of experience working with mentally challenged individuals, supporting families and being a strong advocate for children experiencing abuse and maltreatment. She has coached and mentored many family members and friends through their life challenges and study abroad plans/journey. Charlotte has a burning desire to change lives and help vulnerable population.

In Cameroon, like most other African countries, post-secondary or post high school education is a tremendous stressor for many middle class and poor families due to the high cost. The high cost makes university education prohibitive. Families sell their properties, land, beg and borrow just to raise enough money just to support their children long enough to graduate. However, even after the family sacrifice, most young graduates with excellent results are not able to find jobs due to lack of family connections. Many are left roaming the streets, doing menial work and in some cases committing crimes. This is where New Paradigm Solution comes in with a new approach to pave the way for better outcomes.
